Events at this location

The event runs every Friday in the spring and summer. Hours of operation are May – July from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Friday’s in August – September will be held in the evening from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM in Memorial Park.

The list of food trucks is posted weekly on Calvert City’s Facebook and Instagram. There is no charge to set up a food truck or food tent. If electricity is requested there is a $10 charge each Friday.

To sell within the city from a food truck, a zoning compliance form is required. The one-time fee is $25 which allows food trucks to set up in business districts in the city. To download the zoning compliance form, click HERE and bring the completed form to Calvert City Hall located at 861 5th Ave in Calvert City, Kentucky. City Hall Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Calvert Area Development Association is proud to announce the return of a beloved Calvert City tradition — the 2025 Ameribration Pageant — scheduled for Monday, June 23 at 6:00 p.m. at the Calvert City Civic Center, located on Fifth Avenue, directly across from the Rolling Hills Shopping Plaza.

This annual event is a non-competitive, fun-filled celebration for children and young adults from infants through age 21. Participants are encouraged to don their favorite red, white, and blue summer attire and enjoy an evening that celebrates community, youth, and patriotic spirit.

Online Registration Only – Deadline June 20 at 4:00 p.m.

All participants must pre-register online by Thursday, June 20, at 4:00 p.m. No registrations will be accepted at the door, and walk-up participation will not be allowed. Registration is exclusively online — parents and guardians are encouraged to register early to ensure their child’s spot in this cherished event. Register HERE!

Awards & Prizes

• Winners in each age division will receive a crown, trophy, sash, and a $40 cash award.
• First and second runners-up in each division will receive a trophy.
• An optional Miss Photogenic contest is available — participants must submit a photo upon arrival to the pageant. The winner will receive a trophy.

Ameribration Parade Appearance

All winners are encouraged to participate in the Ameribration Parade on Thursday, July 4, at 6:00 p.m. Parade lineup begins at 5:00 p.m. at Pathway Baptist Church on Fifth Avenue. Winners must provide a vehicle for the parade, a vehicle will not be provided.

Continuing the Tradition

The Ameribration Pageant has been a highlight of the city’s July 4th festivities since 1990. Proceeds from the pageant support Calvert Area Development Association programming, bringing family-friendly activities to the community year after year.
