Alison McQuigg
Deputy Clerk
Upon arriving at City Hall, you are more than likely going to be greeted by Alison!
Alison provides excellent customer service to all whom enter Calvert City Hall. She maintains the Parks and Recreation Calendar and works closely with the Utilities Manager and City Clerk to assist as needed. Alison is also the recorder for the Cemetery Board and Parks Board.
Jordan Sholar
Deputy Clerk
Jordan prepares and maintains official records of the City and the Utility Board which includes financial and payroll. Jordan is also the recorder for the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustments.
Carrie Mclean
Deputy Clerk
Carrie prepares and maintains official records of the City and the Utility Commission which includes financial, accounts payable and billing. Carrie is also the recorder for the Airport Board and Utility Board
Glenda Adair
City Clerk | Finance Officer
The City Clerk/Finance Officer serves as the official custodian of the City’s Seal and maintains all city records, ensuring accurate documentation and accessibility. This position works closely with the city administrator to manage the city’s finances, including budgeting, reporting, and ensuring a balanced budget. The City Clerk also records and preserves the minutes of City Council meetings, providing support for council operations and ensuring compliance with public meeting laws.

Bruce Wilkerson
Compliance Officer
The Compliance Officer is responsible for preparing and maintaining all required reports and records to ensure the city complies with local, state, and federal regulations. This position plays a key role in identifying and addressing nuisance issues, working closely with the city administrator, law enforcement personnel, and building inspectors to ensure public safety and community standards are upheld. The Compliance Officer conducts inspections, investigates complaints, and coordinates enforcement efforts, promoting a safe, clean, and well-regulated environment for Calvert City residents.

Gene Colburn Mayor
The Mayor of Calvert City oversees the overall operations of the city, providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure the effective delivery of public services. Serving as the presiding officer at City Council meetings, the Mayor facilitates discussions, promotes collaboration, and ensures that decisions align with the best interests of the community. With deep roots in city governance, having served 12 years on the City Council prior to becoming Mayor in February 2021, the Mayor plays a vital role in fostering community engagement, shaping policy, and representing Calvert City in regional and state affairs.

City Administrator
John Ward is Calvert City’s City Administrator.
The office of City Administrator coordinates efforts of various City Departments. The City Administrator functions as the City’s Zoning Administrator, Floodplain Administrator, Alcohol Beverage Control officer and Human Resource Officer.

Marketing, Communications and Business Development Director
The Director of Marketing, Communications, and Business Development is responsible for promoting Calvert City’s image, amenities, and opportunities to residents, visitors, and businesses. This role involves developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing public communications, and fostering strong community engagement. The Director plays a key role in planning and coordinating city events, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively highlight the community’s assets. Collaborating with city leadership, the Director works to attract new investment, enhance local tourism, and ensure Calvert City continues to thrive as a vibrant and prosperous community.

Greg Northcutt is the Calvert City Attorney.
The Calvert City Attorney attends all council meetings and commission meetings to assure boards, employees, and council abide by the law of the State of Kentucky and the ordinances set by the Calvert City Council.

Our Fire Chief spent 35 years in Emergency Services before starting as Fire Chief for Calvert City. The Calvert City Fire Department is very active within the city. They provide fire safety classes to students at Calvert City Elementary and participate in Halloween and Ameribration festivities promoting fire safety.

Police Clerk
Beth serves as the police department receptionist and maintains general knowledge of various office equipment. She is proficient in computer programs and services necessary for the efficient operation of the police department. She also serves as the department’s evidence technician.

Public Works Supervisor
The Public Works Supervisor oversees the daily operations and long-term planning and maintenance of parks, streets, city and garbage collection services in Calvert City. This leadership role ensures that public spaces and infrastructure are safe, clean, and well-maintained, coordinating projects, supervising staff, and managing resources effectively. The supervisor also works closely with other city departments to support community events and respond to public needs, ensuring timely service delivery and promoting a high quality of life for residents.

Bobby Henson
Utilities Superintendent
The Utilities Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the city’s water and sewer departments, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with all regulatory standards. This role includes managing staff, preparing water quality reports, monitoring infrastructure, and coordinating maintenance and repairs to protect public health. The superintendent interacts regularly with the public, addressing inquiries and resolving service-related issues, while fostering positive community relations.
