- Leisure Paddle: A relaxed, self-paced float from Sledd Creek to the Kentucky Dam Village Beach Boat Ramp.
- Exploratory Geology Paddle: Join local geology enthusiast John Tilson along the Kentucky Lake shoreline to learn about visible rock formations and fossils on the way to the take-out.
- Event Schedule:
Checkin: 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM
Safety and Overview: 8:45 AM
Shuttle Service: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM
Paddle Day Take-off: 9:00 AM
Door Prize Drawing and Lunch Voucher – Upon completion of the paddle at approximately 11:00 AM.

The beloved CC River Folk Fest is back this fall, bringing two days of toe-tapping bluegrass, community spirit, and family fun to Memorial Park in Calvert City. The festival is free and open to the public, offering a welcoming atmosphere for all ages to enjoy live music, local flavor, and the vibrant culture of Western Kentucky.
Residents and visitors alike are invited to bring their lawn chairs and settle in for an unforgettable music experience. The festival will feature talented regional and national acts, from open stage jams to headline performances, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
