Calvert Area Development Association (CADA) has announced the launch of the Calvert City Military Tribute Project, a new community fundraiser designed to honor veterans and active-duty service members with personalized tribute signs.
Modeled after the popular Hometown Hero banners, this is the first year for the Military Tribute Project. Participants can purchase a customized yard sign that will be displayed in Calvert City Memorial Park during Veterans Day each year.
“This new tribute sign program gives our community a tangible way to honor the service and sacrifice of our military members,” said Brittany Story, president of the Calvert Area Development Association. “It’s a powerful reminder that freedom isn’t free — and recognizing our heroes should be a visible, shared experience.”
What You Get:
A 24″ x 18″ double-sided yard sign personalized with the honoree’s name, rank, branch, and years served, displayed annually each Veterans Day in Calvert City Memorial Park
Cost and Deadline:
Each tribute sign is $25, with all proceeds benefiting CADA to support community events and local development projects. The order deadline is October 6, 2025. Orders must be received by this date to ensure the sign is included in this year’s display.
