Calvert City’s beloved Ameribration kicks off on June 23 and concludes with the parade and fireworks on July 4. The City of Calvert City encourages the entire region to join in the celebration, featuring events organized by the City, local businesses, and Calvert Area Development Association (CADA).
“AmeriBration is a long-standing tradition in Calvert City. Memorial Park is filled with residents and visitors arriving by golf cart and enjoying the festivities. This community-driven event, organized by CADA, wouldn’t be possible without the time and generosity of our incredible volunteers,” said Blair Travis, Director of Marketing, Communications, and Business Development for the City of Calvert City.
AMERIBRATION PAGEANT – JUNE 23
The first event to kick off is the Ameribration Pageant on June 23. This year is the first year for registration to go only online. The deadline to register is June 21, and registration will not be available at the door. All participants must register online by clicking the link below. The cost to register is $20, and $5 to be included in the Miss Photogenic contest. If you participate in the Miss Photogenic contest, please bring a photograph. Scoring is based on personality, stage presence, and appearance. The dress for the pageant is red, white, and blue summer attire. Register HERE.

Weekly, every Friday in Calvert City Memorial Park, have lunch at your favorite food truck from 10:30 AM through 1:30 PM through July. The food truck lineups can be found on Calvert City’s Facebook page under the Food Truck Friday Events tab.
CALVERT CITY AMERIBRATION – JULY 4
Cornhole Tournament
To kick off the start of AmeriBration is the Cornhole Tournament beginning at 10:00 AM. Registration is from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM behind the amphitheater in Calvert City Memorial Park. It is $20 per team and the winning team will receive 50% of the earnings. Please bring your boards and bags and enjoy a friendly competition of a summer game staple. LIVE MUSIC
Local musicians have partnered together to have an afternoon of live music. The live music begins at 10:00 a.m. on the Memorial Park Amphitheater stage.

The live music is free and open to the public. Bring a lawn chair, tent, blanket, and cooler and enjoy a full day of music.
KIDS CORNER
Free in the park will be a collection of inflatables provided by Lifestyle Occasions from 12 PM to 8 PM. A free petting zoo provided by Barnyard Buddies will be open from 12 PM to 6 PM, and nine holes of mini-golf will be open from 12 PM to 6 PM. All day, cool off in the Memorial Park Splash Pad!
ARTS AND CRAFTS – FOOD TRUCKS – July 4
Over 40 food vendors, artisans, and crafters will be set up in Memorial Park this year from 12 PM to 9 PM, selling a variety of unique items!
If you would like to be a part of Ameribration, the deadline to register to be a vendor at Ameribration is June 20 at 4:00 PM. Please note that all merchandise must be appropriate for a broad audience—no controversial items may be sold. Additionally, to maintain the spirit of unity at the event, the only flags permitted on display will be the American flag. Join us for a festive celebration and showcase your goods to the thousands who attend this annual tradition! Event set up is July 3 from 9 AM – 7 PM and July 4 from 7 AM – 11:30 AM, with sales beginning at noon. Register to be a vendor HERE!
CALVERT CITY MUSEUM – JULY 4
The Calvert City Museum, driven by local Calvert City resident Bobbie Foust, will be on display on July 4 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Calvert City Civic Center. Walk through local history spanning over 150 years.
CALVERT CITY MASONIC LODGE #543 KID’S PARADE – JULY 4
The 4th of July Kid’s Parade is BACK! Let your child decorate their bike, scooter, and themself, and be a part of the Kid’s Parade, time TBD, at Calvert City Memorial Park Amphitheater! The Calvert City Masonic Lodge is organizing the kid’s parade and will serve free popsicles after the event.
AMERIBRATION PARADE AND FIREWORKS – JULY 4
Get your floats, golf carts, and classic cars ready for this long-standing tradition in Calvert City! There is no pre-registration! Line-up begins at 5:00 PM at Pathway Baptist Church. 5th Ave will be closed during the parade from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM, and the parade will begin at 6:00 PM along 5th Ave. The parade lineup is organized by Calvert City Masonic Lodge and Calvert Area Development Association. Prizes will be given to the best-decorated float, best-decorated golf cart, and best classic car. Follow the parade to Calvert Memorial Park for free popsicles provided by CADA and find your spot in Doctor’s Park for the best fireworks in western Kentucky beginning at dusk. The parade theme this year is “Christmas in July.”

CALVERT CITY LIONS CLUB FUNDRAISER
Drop by the Calvert City Lions Club tent and purchase a cheeseburger, hamburger, or hot dog that goes to support local activities in Calvert City. They’re located in the parking lot across from Shop-o-rama and will serve from 1 PM – 9 PM.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS #10988 AND ST PIUS X FUNDRAISER
New this year, the Knights of Columbus will be opening their *air conditioned* parish hall and serving BBQ pork plates, ½ rack ribs, ½ chickens with sides to include: chips, baked beans, slaw and a drink. The plates are $15. Serving begins at 11 AM until they are sold out!
VETERANS BRUNCH – JULY 12
Back again, organized by Lakeland Event Center, it’s an event you don’t want to miss! The Veterans Brunch is on July 12 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Lakeland Event Center on the corner of Hwy 95 and Hwy 62. Veterans eat free at the brunch, and funds raised will be donated to the HUGS Project of Western Kentucky and A Soldier’s Heart, Bluegrass & Muddy Waters. Enjoy a full spread of food provided by the local restaurant, 50’s Cafe. $15 for adults and $5 for children. This event is sponsored by Calvert Area Development Association, 50’s Café, State Farm – Hilary Washer, Calvert City Agent, and CFSB.
