Get ready for an exciting weekend of pickleball action as the Calvert City Summer Slam returns to Doctors Park from June 21-23, 2024. Following the resounding success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s tournament promises to be even bigger and better, with over 200 participants already registered from five different states!
Sponsored by CFSB Investments, the Calvert City Summer Slam is the best little pickleball tournament in Kentucky. The event will take place at the Calvert City Pickleball Courts, and registration has been open since March 1, 2024. REGISTER HERE!
Tournament Highlights:
- Food Trucks: Enjoy delicious offerings from Chimneys, Ipop Kettlecorn, Krazy Kones, and Yellow Umbrella, available on-site throughout the day.
- Free Goodies: Participants and spectators alike will be treated to a variety of freebies.
- Convenient Warm-up Courts: Get ready for your matches with warm-up courts conveniently located nearby.
- Vendor Opportunities: Interested in being a vendor? Email info@calvertcityky.gov for more information.
- Entry Fee: $50 per participant.
- Competition Categories: Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Women’s Doubles with skill levels ranging from 2.5 to 4.5.
This event is also an opportunity for our local pickleballers to show off on their home turf. Calvert City Pickleball is known for its competitive nature and strong community spirit. Last year’s tournament raised an impressive $6,000 for the Calvert/Sharpe Family Resource Center, which provides crucial assistance to families in Marshall County.
