The City of Calvert City has selected the winners of its annual Calendar Photo Contest. It is our pleasure to announce the photographers whose images will be featured in the 2026 City Calendar.
Each year, the city invites residents and visitors to submit original photos showcasing the beauty, character, and everyday moments that make Calvert City special. All entries must be taken within the Calvert City limits or on Kentucky Lake and the Tennessee River. This year’s contest drew strong participation, with 255 photos received.
“It is beautiful to see Calvert City and our natural resources through the eyes of our residents and visitors,” Mayor Gene Colburn said. “These photos remind us how much there is to appreciate here, from our neighborhoods to the lake and river that shape our community. I am grateful to everyone who shared their talent and helped tell Calvert City’s story for 2026.”

City calendars are now available for pickup at the following locations: Calvert City Hall, Calvert City Shoporama, Calvert City Food Giant, and Basketcase Florist and Gifts.
