The event runs every Friday in the spring and summer. Hours of operation are May – July from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Friday’s in August – September will be held in the evening from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM in Memorial Park.

The list of food trucks is posted weekly on Calvert City’s Facebook and Instagram. There is no charge to set up a food truck or food tent. If electricity is requested there is a $10 charge each Friday.

To sell within the city from a food truck, a zoning compliance form is required. The one-time fee is $25 which allows food trucks to set up in business districts in the city. To download the zoning compliance form, click HERE and bring the completed form to Calvert City Hall located at 861 5th Ave in Calvert City, Kentucky. City Hall Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Get ready to celebrate the new school year with a SPLASH! The Calvert City community is invited to the annual Back to School Splash at Memorial Park on August 15, 2025. This fun-filled event promises an evening of excitement and entertainment for all ages.

From 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. families can enjoy a variety of activities, including food trucks, free snow cones, inflatables, crafts, free give-a-ways, and the always-popular splash fountain It’s the perfect opportunity for parents to mingle and children to play as we come together to kick off the school year. Be sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet because the highlight of the evening will be the foam party at 6:00 p.m.!
