The event runs every Friday in the spring and summer. Hours of operation are May – July from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Friday’s in August – September will be held in the evening from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM in Memorial Park.
The list of food trucks is posted weekly on Calvert City’s Facebook and Instagram. There is no charge to set up a food truck or food tent. If electricity is requested there is a $10 charge each Friday.
To sell within the city from a food truck, a zoning compliance form is required. The one-time fee is $25 which allows food trucks to set up in business districts in the city. To download the zoning compliance form, click HERE and bring the completed form to Calvert City Hall located at 861 5th Ave in Calvert City, Kentucky. City Hall Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Embark on an artistic adventure with ‘Kids Art in the Park,’ an exhilarating half-day program designed to ignite your child’s creative spirit! Hosted by the City of Calvert City and the Calvert Area Development Association, this immersive experience invites children to dive into the world of fine arts through hands-on workshops and more.
From vibrant painting sessions to community art projects and beyond, children will rotate through four captivating workshops led by local community leaders. Each workshop offers a unique opportunity for young artists to experiment and express themselves across various mediums, fostering a love for creativity that lasts a lifetime.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Calvert City Memorial Park, ‘Kids Art in the Park’ creates a magical environment where imagination thrives and masterpieces come to life. Don’t miss this chance to inspire your child’s artistic passion!
There will be kids performing on stage, and be sure to bring money to spend at the Kids Business Fair!

Having spent her entire life in Marshall County, Bacon is a dedicated mother and a full-time professional who loves life’s simple pleasures. Juggling the responsibilities of raising two sons and two dogs, she still finds time for her own joy, which includes a deep appreciation for yoga, food, live shows, her love for the outdoors, and a diverse range of music.
Her mission is to create a safe, judgment-free space where individuals can prioritize self-care and mindfulness.
“I want my class to be a sanctuary for people to take a break from the demands of life, connect with yourself, and breathe. All levels are welcome. I encourage my yogis to listen to their bodies and adjust as needed. This is your practice, and my goal is for you to leave feeling good and relaxed both physically and mentally,” expressed Bacon.
Residents of Calvert City are invited to join in on this exciting yoga journey, fostering connections with others and embracing the myriad benefits of yoga.
Yoga mats will not be provided. Children are allowed but must be accompanied by an adult. Classes will be held once a week on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. at the Calvert City Civic Center. There is no charge
