The Calvert City 5th Ave Christmas Celebration is a fundraiser for the Calvert/Sharpe Family Resource Center and is hosted by Calvert Area Development Association and the City of Calvert.
Each year, the Calvert City community gathers together to kick-off the Christmas season. This year may look a little different. Due to the recent pandemic, every event has been moved to Memorial Park, including the Calvert City Christmas Bazaar. Over 70 vendors will be socially distanced throughout Memorial Park from 9 AM – 4 PM. “It’s the perfect time to get those personalized gifts for those on your Christmas list,” said Blair Travis, director of marketing and business development for Calvert City. “This event highlights our town and gives opportunities to local small business owners to showcase their business.”
The Christmas Bazaar isn’t the only event happening in Memorial Park. Next up – Tree Lighting and Ice Skating! Find out the winners of the Calvert City Photo Contest and Holiday Decorations Contest at 7:00 PM in Memorial Park
This year, registration for ice skating is mandatory! Please click the link below to register your skate time. Skaters will have 15-20 mins to ice skate. Only 15 ice skaters will be allowed on the rink at a time. Tickets for the event are sold out! However, you can try your luck in the “No Ticket” Line. Ice skating is from 4-8 PM in Memorial Park. Live Music will be provided during the event by various local musicians. Tree lightings is at 7 PM!
LAST UP – Lions Club Christmas Parade!
This year’s parade will look a little different! Parade floats will be set up stationary throughout Doctors Park. Drive through the park with your family and check out the lighted floats including a drive-by visit with Santa! Decorate your golf cart and be a part of the parade!
