This is Me
A song by Haley McPherson

I don’t know what to say.
I don’t know what to think.
This is an old story.
With no beginning or end.
Should I follow my heart?
Or listen to my head?
I don’t know.
When I see a path that looks perfect,
I don’t know what is at its end.
I am who I am.
I’m going to fly,
Because this life is mine
And no one else’s.
I want to dream and wake up happy
Even though the quarantine is stopping me. I hear my voice it tells me I can fly.
I am who I am.
I want to choose
This new world opening up for me.
I’m the sky.
I’m the night and the day.
There’s no fear to make me doubt myself.
I am who I am.
I want to choose.
This new world is opening for me.
I’m the sky.
I’m the night and the day.
There’s no fear to make me doubt myself.
I will not stop now
Even though the sickness is going around.
I am who I am.
I’m going to fly.
