Ready to turn your clutter into cash? The Calvert Citywide Yard Sale is happening September 4–6, 2025, all across town — and we want YOU to be part of it! Residents and organizations are encouraged to host a yard sale, clear out unused items, and maybe even raise funds for a cause. It’s a fantastic way to recycle, reuse, and reconnect with neighbors.

Want to register your sale?

It’s easy!

– Complete the registration form here: Register Your Yard Sale
– Use the event page to promote your sale: Facebook Event

What to do with leftover items?

No worries! Bring anything you don’t sell to Fall Cleanup Day on September 20, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Doctors Park, behind the Marshall County Public Library @Calvert City. This free service (rain or shine) helps residents properly dispose of garbage and household hazardous waste. Public Works volunteers will be on-site to assist with unloading your vehicle.

Accepted items:

  • Document shredding

  • Tires (limit 8 per household)

  • Bulk/large items

  • Used oils, antifreeze, latex paint

  • Hazardous household waste

  • Fluorescent lamps & bulbs

  • Old prescription drugs & thermostats

  • Computers (SmartPath Technologies on-site for secure hard drive wiping)

Reminder: Calvert City residents must bring proof of residency (driver’s license or water bill).

Let’s make this a community win — sell what you can, and responsibly clean up what’s left!
