Having spent her entire life in Marshall County, Bacon is a dedicated mother and a full-time professional who loves life’s simple pleasures. Juggling the responsibilities of raising two sons and two dogs, she still finds time for her own joy, which includes a deep appreciation for yoga, food, live shows, her love for the outdoors, and a diverse range of music.
Her mission is to create a safe, judgment-free space where individuals can prioritize self-care and mindfulness.
“I want my class to be a sanctuary for people to take a break from the demands of life, connect with yourself, and breathe. All levels are welcome. I encourage my yogis to listen to their bodies and adjust as needed. This is your practice, and my goal is for you to leave feeling good and relaxed both physically and mentally,” expressed Bacon.
Residents of Calvert City are invited to join in on this exciting yoga journey, fostering connections with others and embracing the myriad benefits of yoga.
Yoga mats will not be provided. Children are allowed but must be accompanied by an adult. Classes will be held once a week on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. at the Calvert City Civic Center. There is no charge

However you have been touched, we want to take October and beyond to remember and remind ourselves and those around us to be proactive to get your mammograms!
We remember those whose lives have touched ours but are no longer with us and celebrate those fighting the fight now!
Join Calvert Area Development Association for The Carol Capps Pink Walk on October 11 at 9 AM.
Funds from this event will be donated to Kentucky Cancer Link. That means your donation will directly impact a local person in need.

Calvert City is one of the best little towns to visit during Halloween. On October 31, residents travel by golf cart, car, hayride, or bike to the many stops. The city is urging residents to keep a lookout for little goblins, especially around Halloween. The Calvert City Treat Trail is scheduled for October 31, with a curfew of 10:00 PM.
If you would like to be a stop on the trail, please email info@calvertcityky.gov.
HERE ARE A FEW REMINDERS:
- Leave your porch light on if you want trick-or-treaters to visit your home.
- Look both ways when crossing the street.
- Drivers, be aware of crosswalks and drive slowly through neighborhoods.
- Pedestrians can be visible by wearing reflective tape, a flashlight, or a glow stick.
- Golf carts should utilize the multi-use trail and side roads. Only use 5th Ave for crossing the street. Sidewalks are NOT for golf carts.
