Calvert City is ready to dazzle this holiday season with an action-packed day of festive events on Saturday, December 7, kicking off the Christmas season in style. Whether you’re looking to shop, enjoy live entertainment, or experience something completely new, there’s something for everyone.

9:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Calvert City Christmas Bazaar
Get your holiday shopping done early! With over 140 vendors spread across four locations, you’ll find unique gifts, handmade crafts, and holiday décor.

4:30 PM – 5:30 PM – Light Up Calvert City
Head to Doctors Park and Memorial Park for the first-ever Hot Air Balloon Glow, live Christmas music by Jazz Patrol, carnival games, inflatables, food trucks, and festive fun like cookie decorating and hot chocolate. Newly added this year will be a live nativity organized by the Calvert City United Methodist Church. At 5:30 PM, the tree lighting ceremony will illuminate the city, setting the perfect scene for the evening parade.

FLYING OPPORTUNITY
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM – 65th Calvert City Lions Club Christmas Parade
Join us for Kentucky’s longest-running Christmas parade on 5th Avenue, themed “The Sounds of Christmas.” Parade-goers can enjoy a stunning display of lights, music, and holiday cheer. After the parade, stop by the Civic Center for a photo with Santa, plus free hot dogs and drinks served by the Calvert City Lions Club. Register your float by clicking here. Those participating in the parade can line up beginning at 4:45 PM and judging will begin at 5:30 PM with the parade beginning at 6:00 PM.
